The alpine pasture habitat is changing: wolves and bears are returning to the Alpine region and threatening grazing animals. The tourism use of the mountain world has increased in the Corona pandemic. Climate change is shifting the tree line and alpine pastures are becoming overgrown if they are not grazed. Tyrolean alpine pastures are under massive pressure – new strategies are needed. Teresa Andreae and her all-terrain team visited several remote alpine pastures and talked to farmers, shepherds, hunters and other experts.
