1. BY TRAIN ACROSS THE LOWLANDS (English)
The first part of this journey through Scotland begins in the colourful and vibrant capital, Edinburgh. It takes us through the rolling hills of the Scottish Lowlands, en route to the wild, picturesque east coast and Aberdeen. There are new and exciting views behind every bend: heath-covered hills with a magically purple glow, beautiful lakes and forests of the deepest shades of green.
The breath-taking camerawork for this documentary received the Columbus Film Award.

2. BY TRAIN ACROSS THE HIGHLANDS (German)
On the second part of the journey through Scotland, we leave Aberdeen and travel further north to our destination, Inverness, taking the Highland Main train line Route that runs through the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. Just what would these largely pristine areas be without the inhabitants?
