Viennese journalist Jakob Horvat takes us on a journey that probably won’t be possible for quite some time. Even before the COVID pandemic, he traveled around the world as sustainably as possible, using as few resources as possible and keeping his budget as low as possible: from Vienna to Portugal by hitchhiking, by sailboat across the Atlantic, through South America, via Hawaii to Borneo and India. On his journey, he allows himself to be touched by the magic of tropical nature, reflects on the effects of the climate crisis and environmental pollution, and meets people who inspire him and challenge him to go to his limits.
