The Bay of Fundy covers an area of 16,000 square km and borders the Canadian provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. It boasts the highest tides in the world which rise and fall 20 meters twice a day. This massive influx and outflow of billions of tons of water represents more volume than all of the worlds freshwater rivers combined. This impressive body of water is home to a wide range of marine species including whales, sharks, dolphins, leatherback turtles, as well as dozens of fish species.
