A Viennese nightclub becomes the backdrop for a brutal crime when the owner, Otto Hübner, is shot at close range in the back room. His wife discovered the lifeless body. The list of suspects is limited, and forensic results yield a surprising twist: Moritz Eisner’s DNA was found at the crime scene. Further incriminating evidence emerge, including Moritz being spotted in the club on the night of the crime, a cab driver identifying him, and the murder weapon matching the model of his service firearm. Colonel Rauter has no choice but to involve the Internal Affairs Department. As Moritz is taken into custody, his colleague Bibi Fellner fervently strives to prove his innocence, unraveling a long-suppressed tragedy that could be their downfall.
