Can you grow strawberries in a laundry basket? What could a grass hedgehog be? Which is the largest berry in the world? “Anchors aweigh!” is the motto for ten episodes with Captain Robert Steiner. At his side, the talking plant Lila Grassgreen appears as a cheeky co-host. Together they provide informative insights into the vast world of plants – from pumpkins to tomatoes, from strawberries to peas – to carnivorous plants that even grow here in Europe. Experts will have their say, as will “The Garden Pirates”, consisting of lots of inquisitive kids. There are also lots of plant tips, craft ideas and unusual knowledge.
