1 x 90 min

David Walcher, the manager of a home for disadvantaged young people, is beaten to death in the vicinity of his workplace one night. When his body is found the next morning, it quickly becomes a case for the investigators Moritz Eisner and Bibi Fellner. Before long, they are immersed in the challenges faced by the home and its clients. Despite the investigation, the care workers Femi, Aras, and Simon have to continue to look after their charges and can’t afford to betray the relationships they have built with the troubled young people. The home’s inhabitants, males aged between 14 and 18, are opposed to the police and initially refuse to cooperate. All the same, Moritz and Bibi are able to reconstruct the tragic events of the evening of David’s death using their well-honed instincts, perseverance, and a healthy dose of empathy.
