Every year, the festively decorated Great Hall of the Vienna Concert House hosts ‘Christmas in Vienna’ – one of the most prestigious Christmas concerts in the world. It features a range from classic Christmas repertoire to traditional songs and popular Christmas tunes. This year, four international opera stars take the stage of the Vienna Concert House: American soprano Angel Blue, French singer Julie Fuchs, French baritone Ludovic Tézier, and Uzbek tenor Bekhzod Davronov. Together with the Vienna Boys’ Choir and the Vienna Sing Academy, they usher in the Christmas spirit. For the first time, trumpeter and composer Thomas Gansch joins the event, while the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna performs under the direction of Heinz Ferlesch.
