This modern TV movie, starring audience favorite Sebastian Ströbel and German Acting Award winner Franziska Wulf, tells the story of how a platonic friendship can become a close-knit patchwork family. Director Markus Sehr strikes an entertaining balance between light-hearted and touching moments in his adaptation of Michel Birbæk’s bestseller, for which Birbæk also wrote the screenplay. Marie Burchard plays the third woman in the group, who is also searching for her perfect match but lacks the romantic comedy protagonist to complete her happiness.
