“A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away …”. We read these words and immediately think of the march music from Star Wars. “Space, the final frontier” is the Styriarte Youth Orchestra’s theme in summer 2025. Mei-Ann Chen and her young musicians are inspired to take off at the speed of light by the same music that once inspired the creators of Star Trek and Star Wars. All aboard and off we go – to Gustav Holst’s planets, to the realm of the Jedi Knights and to Alderaan and Princess Leia. A galactic sound experience awaits the Styriarte audience, enhanced by OchoReSotto’s light effects.
