To mark the 200th anniversary of celebrated composer Johann Strauss’ birth, his operetta Das Spitzentuch der Königin (The Queen’s Lace Handkerchief) returns to the stage it initially premiered on for the first time in 136 years. This new staging is also the first dramatic performance to take place in the recently refurbished Theater an der Wien.
