Roy and Bruno Singer are father and son, but could not be further apart from each other. Roy is musician in every fibre of his being and earns his keep in Berlin, not always on the legal side of things. Bruno, on the other hand, works for the police in Hamburg and dreams of working in homicide – well, that and of winning the heart of his colleague Kyra Sperling. His boss, Tamara Rosenberg, advises Bruno to not associate with his father and his impressive criminal record. But when Bruno is forced to make contact with his dad after his mother had an accident, he gets sucked into Roy’s world of crime…
