The popular and respected radiologist Harald Wolf is killed by a single bullet to the chest in front of his house in Lower Austria. Before long, it emerges that the weapon used in the attack is an historical pistol which belonged to the victim and had been stolen a few months earlier. State investigator Marion Geyer and her local counterpart Patrick Brandl soon discover that Wolf was not only a weapons collector, the son of a neo-Nazi, and an esoteric influencer, but also had close ties to far-right organizations in Austria and Germany. The question they have to answer is: Did the victim, who leaves behind a wife and son, make enemies among the extremists?
