Petra Kelly and her husband, retired General Gert Bastian, were one of the most controversial political couples in the 1980s’ Germany. In 1992, Kelly was found shot dead in her terraced house, killed by a gun belonging to her partner, who was also found dead. The only other thing discovered was an unfinished letter. The deaths still raise many unanswered questions. Was it suicide? Or was it a double murder? In addition to these questions, the documentary also follows Kelly’s work and life as a Green politician and peace activist.
