A new school year begins at Austria’s most renowned and prestigious ski-academy where a new class of freshmen compete to fulfill their dream of one day dominating the professional skiing world. However, at this boarding school of adolescent athletes there is only a thin line between love and jealousy, loyalty and betrayal, ambition and frustration. Newfound friendships, across all borders, are instantly put to the test in the next hard-fought race. Romantic relationships emerge but often enough start to go downhill fast under the constant pressure of winning. In day-to-day school life with all its emotional twists and turns, the students find themselves caught between self-discovery and self-optimization and the additional adrenalin of going down the slopes at 100 miles per hour. Meanwhile, the school’s headmaster, teachers and trainers constantly fight against bad publicity, cash flow problems and political interference.
